adrienne gomez

is a chicana/puerto rican dramatist born and raised in southern california. She attended california state university, northridge from 2008 to 2011, where she majored in theatre and minored in philosophy. From 2012 to 2019, she wrote, acted, and produced sketch comedy in los angeles. Gomez is a founding member of women of color anonymous(WOCA), a sketch comedy team comprised entirely of women of color writers and performers. WOCA performed throughout the los angeles comedy scene, including upright citizens brigade, the clubhouse, and The tao comedy studio. In May 2021 she received her MFA in dramatic writing from NYU tisch school of the arts, with a thesis in playwriting. Gomez currently lives in brooklyn, NY.
