Classics in Color
Classics in Color is a new play development and presentation program for plays that blend the BIPoC lived-experience with the global classics.
dqt articulates its curated classroom by choosing its instructors and matriculants through a considered selection process that is informed by the shared values of equity, community, good faith, and artistry. The instructors are varied in methodologies but all practice collaboration and customization; that is to say, they’ll provide individual attention to each matriculant and utilize any number of ways (i.e., studying comparable works, engage in at-home or in-classroom writing exercises, etc.) to help guide each writer through their revision process.
