DQT WINS NYSCA GRANT
We are thrilled to announce the Dramatic Question Theatre (DQT) has once again been awarded a grant by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).
We want to acknowledge all the theatre-makers who grace our work and our lives. We thank them for being both in collaboration and in community with us.
Congratulations and continued success to the other recipients. We’re honored to share this distinction with them.
We’re proud to have our commitment to developing plays by BIPoC and Women-identifying playwrights recognized and thank NYSCA for its continued acknowledgment and support.

Congratulations to Tanya Perez, 2022-2023 American Woman on being selected to attend the Latinx Playwright Circle’s inaugural Summer Jam.
CARIDAD SVICH JOINS DQT’s TEAM OF INSTRUCTORS
Obie Award winning playwright, Caridad Svich, is joining DQT’s team of instructors for the 2023-24 season. She will be leading Classics in Color, a new play development program for BIPoC writers blending their narratives with narratives from the Global Canon.
dqt’s Digital Stage Season Reaches Across the City and Country
The 2022-23 Digital Stage Season (DSS) concluded on July 23. Directed by Ana Zambrana, it featured the work of twenty-two writers, twenty-two actors, and was enjoyed by a national audience.
